Cos'è il delay con feedback?
Il delay è un ritardo applicato a un suono in ingresso: con un delay di due secondi, dopo due secondi sentiamo una copia esatta della nota. È il principio alla base di moltissimi effetti (eco, chorus, flanger e perfino alcuni filtri) che differiscono principalmente per il tempo di ritardo impostato. Il feedback stabilisce quanta parte del suono ritardato torna in ingresso, generando ripetizioni che si dissolvono nel tempo.
What is delay with feedback?
A delay is a time offset applied to an input sound. With a two-second delay, we hear an exact copy of it exactly two seconds later . It is the principle behind many effects (echo, chorus, flanger and even some filters), which differ from one another mainly by the delay time. Feedback defines how much of the delayed sound is fed back into the delay input, producing multiple repetitions that fade over time.
